My name is Mel - the entrepreneur face behind
A Piece of Comfort Bakery & Co.
I have been baking for as long as I can remember and always making a mess in the kitchen (just ask my fiance haha) and trying new things - even if they did not work out as planned, it was always fun for me!
We started our home bakery based out of beautiful Moonstone, Ontario in November 2021 after we moved into our new home and built our beautiful kitchen! I was always told I should sell my baked goods - which was a hard thing for me to grasp at first.
I just loved baking and getting friends, family, and co-workers to enjoy them and give me critique on what could be better - or when it was just right!
Now we get to spoil our community through our treats!
